I received a call one day from the secretary of a Saudi Arabian businessman in search of his daughter, Najla, who had been missing. for many years. Mr Salem was out of the country at the time, but had left some important information about his daughter and his ex-wife with his assistant.

I figured find the ex-wife, and bingo--you find the daughter, which is exactly what happened. What I had originally anticipated as being a difficult case turned relatively simple due to the fact the his ex-wife was wonderfully ignorant as to what does and does not, constitute a "secure" address.

Needless to say, when Mr Salem returned from abroad, he was happily reunited with his daughter. Last I heard, he had invited her for her first trip to the middle east.
