1. Hot Date of Birth Finders

Steve Morse's advanced Social Security Death Index,is one of the many search tools that he's crafted with innovations and made available.

Morse has added two new tweaks to other databases that increase their functionality. One he calls a birthday finder,

the other helps to fill out a partial date of birth. The date of birth finder, which searches the privateeye.com database (the interface looks like Intelius or Zabasearch), allows for a first name only search. It also returns associates

2.New website

Compiled a list of over 13,000 links to public records, tax records, land records, court records, vital records, inmate lists and material which might be of interest to investigators. You can visit the site. I hope you find these links useful! One interesting thing we learned is that the Social Security Admn Letter forwarding Service is back up and running. We have used this in the past with near 90% success rate. Nobody has as much information about your skip or missing person than SSA does. If your reason is compelling enough, give them what you have and let them do the work.

3.Identity Theft protocol

The FTC has several webpages dedicated to ID Theft

4.people searches

I've found some improvements on a couple of people searches. One being http://www.whitepages.com/ . In the people search part, run a name & you "MAY" get the name of their business & a map to their house. White pages.com also has Reverse, business, etc. searches too.

Next is, http://www.linkedin.com/search

I ran a few names and got collages, "Some--a lil" past history as to where they have lived in the past, past & present employment & more.

Now, before you might say, there was nothing on you run some other names & see if info. comes up on that name. I ran several & got allot of info..Just remember not all search engines are up on everything.

5,Following the trail of old info and websites

Try the weayback machine and others at:

Enter the website address and it will show you whatever it knows about that site and when it knew and then will display it for your review.

6.Free 411

http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/nothing/free411.asp

Cell phone companies are charging us $1.00 to $1.75 or more for 411 information calls when they don't have to. Most of us do not carry a telephone directory in our vehicle, which makes this situation even more of a problem.

When you need to use the 411 information option, simply dial: 1 (800) FREE 411, or 1 (800) 373-3411 without incurring any charge at all! This is the kind of information people don't mind receiving, so pass it onto your family and friends. This works on your home telephone as well!

7.USB Flash drives are useful. That is something obvious. They are portable, relatively cheap, and the data that they contain are easily transferable. But there is always a downside to every good feature. The main thing you should worry about are security threats. This and more will be discussed in the following article.
