Our clients need to locate and identify assets for a variety of purposes. Attorneys and collection agencies need the information to assist in levying assets for judgments. Individuals may be involved in litigation and need to know whether a defendant has the assets to make litigating worthwhile. A spouse may be concealing assets from his/her spouse pending a divorce action. Our searches are all performed legally and require the requesting party to have a legitimate "need to know" for the information. Note: Bank Account searches are no longer available due to Federal Legislation signed into law by romer President Clinton. New Changes For Asset Searches - Financial Privacy Act of 1999

In Nov.99 Congress passed the first legislation ever which regulated the practice of obtaining financial asset information by private citizens.
Prior to this recent legislation, only 4 states had any specific laws regarding asset searches.

Congress has determined that even greater than the threat of uncollected debt in the billions of dollars each year in the US is the potential threat of unnecessary invasion of debtors privacy.  Despite the absence of any evidence of malfeasance by any asset searching companies or complaints from consumers who were wronged, a bill was passed which banned the practice of utilizing any forms of deception or pretext in the search for financial assets.

Along with this ban is a criminal penalty of up to 5 years in prison as well as a $250,000 criminal penalty for each instance of deception.  This applies to any individual or company which used deception in obtaining asset information from a subject or financial institution as well as any individual or company which buys that information.

These changes were designed to prevent companies and search services from providing asset information to the legal, investigative and collection industries as we have been doing since 1987.  And while this new law has already driven many services out of business, we will continue to comply with these new provisions while still providing our customers the ability to locate certain assets of a debtor.


This new policy will be in effect for all searches currently be conducted and all future searches, but our commitment has not changed.  We seek to provide the most thorough, cost effective asset searches possible to assist our customers in collecting on judgments, investigation financial fraud and enforcing child support orders.

INTERNATIONAL BANK LOCATOR: This search will locate a bank outside the continental United States in the name of your subject. This item can include overseas and offshore bank accounts. The advanced search identifies the investment firm, account numbers, account types, balances, share information, stock names, account signers and account brokers. REAL PROPERTY OWNERSHIP: This search locates real property (real estate) in the name of your subject, and may be requested countywide, statewide or nationwide. MOTOR VEHICLE OWNERSHIP: This search will provide a list of vehicles owned by your subject, and is accomplished in a statewide format. You must specify which state(s) you wish searched. LIFE INSURANCE POLICY SEARCH:Life insurance companies are among the largest holders of unclaimed money. More than one-quarter of all life insurance policy benefits go unclaimed and unpaid on death of the insured, because family members aren't aware a policy exists. There is no central repository or clearinghouse for unclaimed life insurance policies, and virtually no effort is made to find lost beneficiaries. Because missing life insurance benefits aren't considered abandoned until the insured's 115th birthday, they won't show up on government unclaimed property lists for some time. Some investigation, therefore, is necessary to trace and recover a lost life insurance policy or unclaimed life insurance benefit.
